Catholic church secretary by day. Acordeonista by night. Obsessed fan of norteño all the time. Writer of weird tales, 1000 words at a time. 100% focused yet completely distracted…because life is a wonderful gift, and I want to explore everything good. Right now, everything good is in Roswell. That is the only cohesive element to everything. Roswell. Welcome to this alien land. I will be posting community events and intriguing facts about Roswell, along with progress on my books. Thank you, and come back soon!
My book covers and links to their respective Amazon pages are on the side (or below, on some devices). My latest published books are Roswell based:
When the Alien Peace brings nothing but war…
…it takes the world’s ragtag youth to fight it. Two of them, anyway.
Under the bright sunshine of the innocuous town of Roswell, New Mexico, the aliens landed their ships for the first time, leaving behind a virus that eventually swept the globe. The spread was curbed through a series of vaccines that also cured the Earth of violent men. This curious global stability has come to be known as the Alien Peace. Peace, that is, for all but a lonely few whose minds, damaged from the vaccines, now taunt them with unrelenting noise.
Talat is one of Roswell’s vaccine damaged. After her caretaker publishes censored information about the aliens and ends up dead, Talat flees before the authorities can force her into foster care. This lonely flight ends when an equally damaged young man, Robert, shoots a government official to protect her. Now fugitives, they escape their hometown together…and run right into the aliens’ trap. What was once noise is now clear: the aliens’ prophecies must be fulfilled.

The second book, Knights of Natan, is almost done!
PDex deliveryman wasn’t on Hector Ruedas’ list of life plans. But he had to do something to survive after bailing on his plumbing business and marriage the day he caught his wife sleeping with his business partner. Now, his only goal is to plow through each shift without having to deliver to Roswell, New Mexico’s nastiest residences. When a notorious haunted house lands on his route, his survival mode is wrecked. The house was inherited by local widow, Arora Smart, who is desperate for help. Nobody else will make deliveries to her there, let alone fix the plumbing. Not that Hector wants to be the one…until the ghost tells him to. With the aid of this specter, Hector and Arora uncover the house’s sixty-year-old secrets. Being a detective wasn’t on his list, either. Yet, here he is, a lifeline for a widow. As a grudging PDex delivery driver, he suddenly finds himself transporting something much bigger than packages: hope.
The second book in the series, Delivering 2nd Chances, is finished and with the editor. Check back soon for the exciting book cover!
I messed around with AI to help me write the jacket copy. Yes, writers don’t enjoy this kind of writing. One thing I can guarantee is that the entire book, all 120k words of it, was written by me.
Hector Ruedas is a delivery driver, not a detective. Unfortunately, the universe in Roswell disagrees.
Between a trainee with illegal gadgets, a boss who may or may not be a witch, a murdered coworker, and a warehouse that keeps producing ghosts instead of answers, Hector finds himself piecing together a conspiracy that spans black‑market tech, street gangs, and the afterlife itself.
Delivering 2nd Chances is a paranormal mystery packed with sharp dialogue, chaotic investigations, and a reluctant hero who just wanted to finish his route—before the dead started asking for help.
What I don’t like about the AI options is the obsessive focus on lists of three. This one was the shortest with the fewest lists.
